We are seeking a dedicated individual to develop a quantum optical simulator for combinatorial optimization.
The selected individual will collaborate closely with our team of experts to forge innovative solutions in the
realms of quantum optics and machine learning. If you are interested, we will support you in obtaining a doctoral

Your profile

  • MS/BS in Physics or a related field with a focus on quantum optics, atomic physics, laser technologies, or machine learning.
  • Hands-on experience with experimental optics.
  • Strong understanding of quantum physics.
  • Proficiency in programming, specifically for data acquisition, analysis, and experiment automation.
  • Ability to work independently and/or under supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Your tasks

  • Develop and implement a quantum optical simulator for combinatorial optimization.
  • Conduct experiments and data collection related to quantum optics.
  • Programming for data acquisition, analysis, and experiment automation.
  • Communicate research results both in writing and orally to the team and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement solutions.
