Your profile

  • You are studying optics, physics, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • You have basic knowledge and interest in applied optics and enjoy practical laboratory work
  • You have basic knowledge in programming, ideally in Python
  • You are looking forward to working on projects quickly and efficiently in an interdisciplinary team and would like to shape the future of photonics with us.

Your tasks

  • Together with your team, you qualify novel lasers for use in quantum sensors
  • You develop, adjust and use optical setups and measurement methods to characterize the lasers
  • You program and test efficient measurement sequences for the automation of laboratory tasks
  • You document your results and write instructions for the standardization of measurements
  • You get the opportunity to actively shape and improve our development processes and products
